Hands of Love
My (Anna's) brother went on a mission trip to Uganda last June, through Hands of Love. It was an amazing experience and he's excited to go again as soon as he can. And he really got to see that the Hands of Love organization truly make an impact! Find out more at www.handsofloveusa.org/
Save The Storks
Save The Storks is an awesome organization dedicated to saving "storks", or unborn babies. They park buses outside of pregnancy centers, offering women an ultrasound of their child. Three out of five of the women that board one of these buses chooses life. They do other awesome stuff too. . . I've got to say that Save The Storks is one of my favorite ministries! Please check it out! https://www.savethestorks.com/
Amazima Ministries
Katie is a young woman seeking after the Lord and following His call for her life. She is willing to live in the dangers and discomforts of Uganda in order to help the people there. Her story is one of love. She founded and directs Amazima Ministries. Make sure to check out her book, Kisses from Katie. http://katiedavis.amazima.org/ https://amazima.org/
Passages
Passages Women's Transitional Living homes is a ministry helping women that are released from prison, by providing not only a home, but also spiritual growth and life skills. http://passagesliving.com/
Family Heritage Alliance
The FHA is an advocacy group protecting the values of faith, family, and freedom. I (Anna) actually know some of the leaders of this organization, as my brothers and I have been involved in some of their luncheons and so forth, and know some of what they do. Definitely check them out! http://www.familyheritagealliance.org/default.aspx

TeenPact
This is a ministry that me and Abby are particularly fond of. . . since we participate in it! TeenPact is an awesome organization that is "Changing lives to change the world." They're teaching teenagers that though the world expects us to be trouble, we should be leaders and godly young men and women.
We have both attended two TeenPact State Classes, which is a government class that is -surprisingly to most- a blast and a wonderful time of spiritual growth. And we've also attended Survival, which teaches survival skills, teamwork, and builds faith.
There are multiple other TeenPact events, all of them a great outreach to youth. I can easily say that TeenPact has changed my life for the better, and I don't think I'm alone in that statement.

Rescue Christians
Something far too many American Christians don't realize is how good we have it. So many Christians in foreign countries are persecuted in terrible ways for their beliefs. Rescue Christians is somewhere you can go to donate and help them rescue these persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Good Lie Fund
Anyone seen the movie The Good Lie? I'd highly recommend it! It captures what life is like for Sudanese children, so many of whom are starving, sick, and caught in conflict; and shows how you really can help. The Good Lie Fund supports various organizations that are devoted to helping these kids.

Veterans
Something I think we are all too oblivious is is how many veterans out there are homeless and desperate. They've served our country, sacrificed their very lives, and then are forgotten. There are 300,000 homeless veterans, and 1.4 at risk of becoming homeless.
For more information and a list of ministries to help (it's at the very end of the video) I'd suggest this video.
